I started collecting stamps when I was about 13 years old. A few short years later, I discovered girls. Needless to say, stamp collecting and most other interests were placed on hold. As an adult, with time and money available, I re-discovered this interesting hobby. This time, I centered my interest on both stamps and printing. Shown here are some interesting examples of 19th century typography by names both big and small in the graphic arts industry.
If you would like more information on stamps and printing, check out the website for the Graphics Philately Association. Membership is not expensive and they have a great quarterly publication, Philateli-Graphics.
(I will be posting examples of my Postal History collection here.)
